AEV and Chevrolet decided to team up and develop the: Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison pickup. And it comes at price, however when you factor in how much accessories cost and then the labor to install them, it’s an amazing deal. The extended cab runs $48,045, the crew cab costs $49,645. Both prices include the $995 destination charge… But that snorkel will cost you extra ($459).
Here is what you get with the Bison package:
- Winch-capable front bumper
- Rear bumper with tube armor and recovery poinits
- Oil pan, T-case, Rear diff, Fuel tank skid plates made of Boron Steel
- Special edition aluminum wheels
- Bolder fender flares
- AEV branded interior
It’s in a market all of it’s own right now, there are no other mid-size trucks offering buyers an offroad capable vehicle. I can only predict that when it hits dealerships in January it will get a lot of attention. I personally can’t wait to see one and I hoping to get permission to take it on a trail or two and put it through the paces.
